The programme

Teaching is the toughest profession. It deserves a clear map.

Teach the Teacher is an initiative of OD Interface. It helps teachers see their teaching competencies clearly, and helps schools support every teacher’s growth.

What it is

An assessment built for growth, not grading

Teaching competency is a combination of skill, knowledge and behaviour. Teach the Teacher assesses it against a structured framework of teaching competencies, each described across five progressive levels: Basic, Average, Above Average, Good and Outstanding.

You answer questions set in real classroom situations. Your report shows your level in each competency, your strengths and your growth areas, so you know exactly where to focus next.

Who it is for

  • Teachers who want an honest, structured picture of their practice and a plan to improve it.

  • Schools and institutions that want to understand their teaching staff and invest in the right development.

  • Teacher leaders who mentor others and want a shared language for good teaching.

About OD Interface

Your next level growth partner

OD Interface works on organisation development initiatives for growth, built on three ideas: people, process and success. With schools, that means:

  1. 1

We conduct a workshop to create awareness on competencies and build organisation-specific competency levels.

  2. 2

We assess the present level of your teachers in competencies using a specific tool.

  3. 3

We provide a road map for each teacher’s target for the next academic year by preparing a month-wise personal development plan.

  4. 4

We audit the personal development plan during our monthly visits and provide an audit report to the management.

A good school’s basic level in a competency can be outstanding for another, which is why workshops build organisation-specific competency levels.
